Grooveg
Food Truck

Group Project

Project Brief

Create a visual identity for a new food truck that is cohesive with the type of food that they sell. It must include a logo, truck design, and packaging.

Grooveg

Grooveg is a healthy alternative to your average food truck. Taking inspiration from the hippie movement in the 60’s, Grooveg wants to serve fresh and flavorful food to their groovy customers. Menu items include lettuce wraps, salads, fresh squeezed juices, and a delectable chocolate tomato cake.

Goal

Create a fun and engaging identity that will bring in more people to buy food and have their events catered.

Target Market

The target market is people ages 20–50 who attend events like concerts, festivals, and protests. This also includes any local beachgoers as well.

My Role

I was primarily in charge of designing the food truck and building the model.

Concept

We wanted to create a bold, fun, and groovy design that would capture the essence of not only the healthy food, but also the community in which they serve.

Logo

We took inspiration from the type used on 1960’s music posters to create the logo.

Truck Panels

Truck Build

Instead of the traditional food truck model, we wanted to use a customized Volkswagen Microbus to match the overall aesthetic.
